This will be my last post for today……maybe…..hahahaha. I’m kinda on a role and learning something new with each post. This card base starts out with the Chocolate Chip cardstock. For the rest of the card, we started the base with the ever beautiful Baja Breeze cardstock. Our designer papers were layered on top of Chocolate Chip cardstock. I decided I wanted to distress the edges of some of my papers so I distressed the edges of both my designer series papers (the printed paper is from the First Editor Specialty Paper pack and I’m not sure which pack the other colored designer series paper is from. I inked the edges of my distressed pieces with the Chocolate Chip ink and my finger dauber. I just love those two tools and use them ALL the time!! I also don’t know the name of the stamp set the big flower came from, but it was stamped with the Tangerine Tango ink and then a 1/2″ circle Chocolate Chip centre was glued to the centre. The little bracket piece was cut using the Curly label and then cut in half.
I really like the color combo on this card. The lace we used was not from Stampin’ Up! as she didn’t have any at the time so we just used a Dollar Store (gasp!!) lace on the front of the card…..lol. I apologize in advance to all the dedicated Stampin’ Up! ladies….. 😉
So, there you have it…..my little creations from my day at my Stampin’ Up! demo night. I’m off to get my swaps caught up that I entered in my SCS forums. I’ll see if any of my creations will be okay to show you tomorrow…..lol.
