Stampin’ Up! Houndstooth Embossing Folder

Standard

For these cards we used the Stampin’ Up! Houndstooth embossing folder.  This is such a versatile folder……not in my stash yet, but I keep looking at the darn thing!!!  I love the subtle colors we used for these cards…..great choices for sympathy cards I thought.  Here are the two cards we made with the two different images and sentiments…..

The card base is made with Whisteria Wonder and the houndstooth embossed cardstock was embossed onto River Rock.  I love these two colors and love them even more paired up on the same card!!  I have to tell you that I don’t know the names of the stamps we used and I can’t find them in the current catalogues…..ooppsss.  We did use some of my favorite embellishment and that is the 1/2″ Very Vanilla seam binding…..I just love the look of seam binding on a card.  The images were stamped in the Whisteria Wonder ink and the sentiments were stamped in the River Rock.

This post was so much easier thanks to the little tip my blogging friend Lisa gave me.  Wander on over to her blog here and check out her fabulous creations……I love going there to drool every once in a while.

One more post to go!!!

About mycraftingtherapyroom

My name is Yvonne Gebauer and I'm a cardmaker and have just entered the amazing world of Mixed Media and am LOVING it!. I'm a wife, a mother to two grown boys, and a grandmother to 5 amazingly beautiful grandchildren which I have to say is really all it's cracked up to be and more. I work full time and am really starting to think that work is getting in the way of life!! I have a large crafting room and I'm my happiest when I have a group of friends get together in this room and just have a blast. Every once in a while we actually create something! Or, when I get a chance to have one of my grandchildren over to just let them play and create what they want with what I have in my stash.....which is allot. My craft room is my therapy room of sorts. My place to go and just be......
